Do you have a storefront I can come into?

Yes, coming 2020 by appointment only. During your appointment you meet directly with designer, Sovannary En who creates all our gowns personally, not with a retail assistant, this way you can directly discuss your gown with the amazing designer that actually creates it!!  No need to worry about whether something can be achieved or not, or making sure the assistant passes on all the information correctly, as you are right there with Sovannary En one on one, something you would very rarely ever get anywhere else.

Do I need to book an appointment?

Yes, Sovannary En Couture is by appointment only. We offer a highly personalized one-on-one bridal design consultation, you will have the opportunity to discuss your dream gown with Sovannary, view and feel different fabrics. At the end of your consultation, Sovannary will design a gown based on your likes and wants. To book your private bridal design consultation please email us at

Is there a consultation fee?

There is a non-refundable consultation fee of $250 for custom designed wedding gown and a non-refundable appointment fee of $25 to view our wedding gown collection. This cost is required to secure your appointment and is deducted from the total price of your gown should you move forward.

How long before my wedding do you start making my dress?

We will start making your gown 6-12 months before your wedding date from the time you make your 50% deposit that will go towards your total balance. The average time frame for custom designed wedding gowns is 8 months, please plan ahead. Occasionally, we can do rush jobs with an additional fee, but it depends on the type of gown and our schedule. Please contact us for more information.

I am out of town or overseas but I want a Sovannary En Couture wedding gown, how do I go about it?

All custom wedding gowns are personally handled by the designer, Sovannary. Please email us at or our contact form for more information. If you find it acceptable, online bridal appointment with Sovannary, via Facetime or Skype available upon request.

How long is the appointment?

Our bridal consultations are scheduled for 1 hour or if think that you will need more time, please let us know at the time of booking and we can accommodate if available. Please ensure that you arrive on time for your appointment as we are usually booked out and you will shorten your consultation time if you arrive late.  Please also be aware that arriving too early is not advised as there is likely to be a client scheduled before your appointment time and appointments are booked exclusively for one bride at a time.

How many people should I bring to my appointment?

We believe that your bridal consultation or fittings should be a relaxed and intimate occasion. We recommend you bring no more than 2-3 guests with you. Choose your nearest and dearest, perhaps a trusted family member and/or a close friend. Too many opinions can be confusing for the bride and overwhelming at times.

What should I wear to my fitting appointment?

We recommend that you wear nude underwear, bring along any shape-wear and your wedding shoes to your fitting appointment. 

How should I store my Sovannary En gown? 
We recommend hanging your dress correctly, by the hang tape sewn from the bust or waist, and storing your dress in a safe place, off the floor and away from direct sunlight. To avoid any snags or pulls in the fabric, we recommend storing your dress in the complementary garment bag that you will receive with purchase. 

Where are your dresses made? 
Our beautiful wedding dresses are handmade in our private studio and our exquisite laces and silks are sourced from around the world.

Do you create dresses for international brides?

Do I need to pay import duties and taxes? 
Import duties and taxes may be applicable in your country. We always recommend to all of our international brides to check with their import/customs department for an estimate cost, so you are aware of any charges that you may be required to pay.
